It's that time of year
And Christmas is here
With carols and candy
And Yuletide cheer.
Trees filled with tinsel
Yards hung with lights
The excitement continues
Until Christmas night.
We celebrate the reason
Of Christ birth on Christmas night
As Santa rides off in his sleigh
And disappears out of sight.
For thru the glitter excitement
And all the holiday holds in store
It's not Santa that we worship
But Jesus that we adore.
It's his birth that is the reason
That Christmas time does come
To remind the world and its people
Thru his birth that we are one.
