God we thank you for the gifts
You give us each new day
For your daily dose of strength
To chase the clouds away.

For your faith to light the way
And keep us safe from harm
For that spirit deep within
And your outstretched arms.

For the hope when life turns cold
And there's no other place to turn
We thank you for all these things
But especially, your concern.

And in giving back to you
For all in life you give
We'll thank you on Thanksgiving
For as long we may live.
